Combust released their second album Belly of the Beast last year through Triple B Records. Recorded with Zach Miller at Landmine Studios, the twelve tracks moved through unique grooves, pulsating riffs, and a tough vocal delivery. It embodied New York Hardcore in both sound and attitude, with lyrics that rejected fake personas and addressed personal struggles. The guest-heavy record highlighted the sense of community within the hardcore scene and beyond, featuring appearances from members of Terror, Mindforce, Crown Of Thornz, Dmize, Imposter, and rapper Rome Streetz.
